Thaddeus (Thad) Troy

Thad Troy oversees relationships with all CG clients in the United States and abroad, to ensure that CG products and services meet or exceed their expectations. Thad works across all business sectors, but focuses on the financial industry, technology and information companies, strategic communications and reputational risk management firms, and global manufacturers. Prior to CG, Thad served for more than 30 years with CIA’s Clandestine Service. He was Chief of Station at four posts, including two of CIA’s largest stations in Western and Southeastern Europe. Thad is a recipient of the DNI’s National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medal, the highest award granted by the Director. Thad is a graduate of Dartmouth and studied in both Russia and China. He has professionally used Russian, German, Croatian, and French in his career and is familiar with Turkish, Danish, and Hindi. Thad has been quoted in The New York Times, Washington Post, Reuters, and other news outlets and has appeared on CNN. He is based in New York City.
